You are members of a detective agency taking care of missions that are too dangerous or too magical for your clients. Also, you are cats. Explore the city from cat’s-eye-view, solve mysteries and dabble in magic. Fight for justice, or simply for the catnip your clients pay you in.
The Feline Files is a rules-light, narrative-focused TTRPG about cats going on magical adventures in the city. It is fully illustrated and provides you not just with the core rules of the system, but also with a wide range of NPCs and story hooks you can use as inspiration for your adventures, allowing you to start playing almost immediately.
Right now The Feline Files is best suited for short adventures, but a campaign/legacy expansion for the system is on our list of future projects.

I had the fortune of playtesting it.
The PDF is 4 pages long, with the first page containing the rules, the last page containing plot hooks, and everything inbetween containing the cat types you can play.
I love everything cat themed and this is very much cat themed since you play cats. The themes and the narratives work well with the lightweight mechanics. It's a 2d6 system, with advantage giving you the bonus you get from your cat type. You can also spend a ressource to improve your rolls, said ressource can be regained by facing your enemy npc. All mechanics I adore.
The different types of cats have different mechanics, so everyone in your party has their thing they're good at, and there's not much overlap so everyone gets to feel important.
It's cute, it's lightweight, it works.
